Reducing Our Environmental Impact

All staff walk, cycle or take public transport to work in our office in Bristol.
LED lighting throughout our office, motion activated in communal areas to reduce energy consumption.
Energy-saving features enabled on all computers.
Waste sorted at source and glass, paper, plastic, metal and cardboard is recycled.
Hardware re-sold, recycled or disposed in accordance with WEEE Regs. 2014.

Carbon Neutral

Make It Wild

We offset more than 100% of our carbon impact, through Make It Wild’s tree planting partnerships and initiatives.

In 2023-24 our business carbon footprint was calculated at 8.4 tonnes. We have offset 10 tonnes of CO2 through tree planting and re-wilding projects in North Yorkshire and the Peak District.

Increasing Our Social Impact

During ‘23-24 we contributed over £5000 to our chosen charity, DBAS UK, including a £1200 donation and pro-bono services comprising a full rebrand, website development, copy-writing and web hosting. DBAS UK supports patients with Diamond Blackfan Anaemia Syndrome.

DBAS is a rare blood condition where the body’s bone marrow fails to produce enough red blood cells. Most commonly affecting children, this is a life-limiting disease for which there is currently no cure. Recent developments in gene therapy are showing promise, however.
We also proudly support the international charity The Styrke Foundation for Rare Disease Research and Treatment with pro-bono web development and consultancy services.
Our previous chosen charities include Whale and Dolphin Conservation and The British Heart Foundation.

Our web servers and data centres are powered, heated and cooled exclusively using a combination of solar, wind and biofuel.
